im on it cause i need it naturally. I wouldn't take it at night. My doctor was very strict on how it has to be taken to work correctly.

I just take mine when I wake up to pin my GH at around 4am or so and chase it with a big glass of water.

As far as sides, I've ben taking mine for over 3 months and other than a little extra sweating, haven't experienced any negative sides at all.

I don't think it takes 4 weeks to see results, in fact I took 100mcg of T4 for only two weeks and saw results.

I'm hypothyroid so I am prescribed it and I felt energized the second day I was on it. Did the doc also check your T3 levels. Some docs only check for TSH and T4. If the T4 isn't working ask your doc about a T3/T4 mix. In Turkey we have Bitiron, I think the equivalent in the States is Armour. Most endos just prescribe T4 because its the precursor to T3 but they don't understand that weak or non functioning thyroids cannot convert the T4 into the T3 that your body really needs.

^^^ VERY TRUE. Many docs do not check t3 and knee-jerk prescribe t4 only. It was when I went on the combo t3/t4 I felt so much better. In many cases t4 does not convert to t3. And when this does not happen metabolism really slows down along with energy.

My TSH was at 35. Took Synthroid and in 2 weeks dropped to 33 and did NOT feel any better. Then I took things into my own hands and started taking Bitiron and in another two weeks dropped by TSH to 1.1 and I felt like I was 18 again. You gotta push your doc on the T3 issue. Those American docs could be real stubborn.

Also for the younger guys reading this thread T3/T4 is definately something to be taken very seriously because your thyroid is the last thing you want to F*ck up. I would advise anyone thinking about taking it for weight loss to try other alternatives first. If your using HgH, then make sure to keep your doses low and every other day. If your thyroid shuts down, that could be it. There is no PCT for a thyroid were you could jump start it and for those who suffer from hypothyroid they know how much it effects there lives. You just don't wanna do anything... ever.
