    10iu+ of Slin PWO?

    I started Slin (humalog) a little over a week ago for the first time. I'm up a couple lbs, feeling some good pumps, but nothing all that crazy. I started off at 4iu,then 6iu, 8iu, and have stayed at 10iu for a few days now. I haven't been feeling any side effects what so ever. I feel perfectly normal. I'm using between 10-12g of carbs per iu PWO (usually Gatorade and Ezequiel bread). For my second spike, about an hour later, I I am having a couple banannas and some orange juice (avoiding fats for 3-4 hours).

    I'm 250lbs at about 14% bf (6'2" in height). Would it be dangerous to go above 10iu of Slin PWO? I am eating more than enough carbs to be safe. I have read a few people state that anything above 10iu PWO can be extremely dangerous?

    Anybody agree or disagree, and as long as I am taking in enough carbs for both spikes, how high can I run this PWO?

    I did 14iu PWO with HGH, it was no problem for me, but as always, diet is the key. Even with slin.

    Be careful with your pancreas man. I think 10 IU are more than enough.

    I have read that it isn't a blanket ceiling on how much to use, it is based on BW. And then others use the 'feel' method and use even more than that.

    Below are some guidelines I ran across. Either way, I am sure you know slin can be very dangerous, so be very careful.

    Insulin
    Average Dose: 1iu per 15 - 20 pounds bodyweight
    Half Life: 1.5 - 3 hours
    Water Retention: Yes
    Using per 20lb, at 250lb, you can use 12.5iu.

    Using per 15lb, at 250lb, you can use 16.66iu (rounded how you choose).

    eventually working up to 1iu/10kgs of bodyweight
    250lb is 113kg, so you'd use 11.3iu.

    I have been reading up on insulin, but haven't decided whether to do it yet. As you know, there are conflicting views on whether insulin use will lead to insulin dependancy.

    That said, I would appreciate if you update your progress, positive or negative(hopefully none).
