    Blood test

    So the NFL wants to start testing but the players union is stalling. I was wondering, what's the testing procedure/detection time for GH?

    A test for detecting synthetic GH vs. naturally produced GH has been available since 2000. HGH usage is one of the olympic tests for banned substances since 2004. GH can be detected if you inject synthetic HGH is the bottom line.

    I don't know if they have a way to test for peptide usage (GHRP and Mod GRF (1-29)) since these only reside in the body for less than 3 hours. These also are a GH releasing hormone, so the GH present in your body is your body's natural GH.
