Yes you will need to start taking it but seeing that you have just had your thyroid tested wait and see what your levels are, but with any gh therapy you will need to add some t4 IMHO.

Honda, you really need to do so more research on these chemicals your looking to use. This stuff can mess you up if you dont know what your doing.
If you cant tell us what it does you probably should take it. Check out the steroid profiles section of the main page and read up on it.
what are your goals ?

GH upregulates the conversion of T4 to T3 which will inhibit TSH and eventually cause hypothyroidism. Especially on 8iu per day, I wouldn't think of running GH without it.
Have you read this: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread....#.TqOVS3NuHJw
It might take a few times of reading it to understand it but it's a great read and backed up upon further research IMO.
Even most of the GH US pharm grade web sites mention that supplementing GH can cause hypothyroidism.

So what I am getting is taking GH can eventually cause hypothyroidism, but if you take T4, you eliminate that from happening?

You really need to do your own reading on this man, but I'll give my opinion.
Yes, taking GH can cause hypothyroidism, pretty much every US pharm grade GH web site will list this in their precautions that the thyroid could be suppressed and should be monitored.
Supplementing T4 with your GH will cause a synergistic effect which IMO is like adding an iu or so when you're at a low GH dose.
However, taking T4 will suppress TSH (in my experience) but will optimize all other thyroid function ie. total T4, T3, and T3 uptake (conversion of T4 to T3)
In my research, the thyroid is very resilient and can and should recover rapidly, even when being suppressed by taking thyroxine for extended periods of time.

I am reading more and more as we speak, but its been a month since I have been on the GH and just up'ed it to 3iu's. I figured after all the extenisve reviews and the article posted by Marcus, this is pretty important. My bro had some (Thyro Fit) on hand so I just took 50mcg's today, Ill do that for a week and then up to dosage to 100mcg's a day. I am pinning in the AM, so when should I take the Sythroid?

Some people say its best to take it first thing AM and some say before bed, I take mine when I pin first thing AM. More important than when you take it, is that you take it by itself and don't eat an hour on either side, not even coffee, as pretty much everything can interfere with the absorption of T4.

Ok I just got my Thyroid panel back, it was 2.64 and my test was at 411ng. How does that sound?
And I ordered Ok is Euthyrox (Levothyroxine T4) 50mcg, is that the right stuff?

^^^ and your reference ranges?
looks to me like you might be a bit hypothyroid (low) as it is. ideally IMO it is better to get your TSH down below 2 and many docs do not prescibe for your level so a bit of t4 might actually help you. BUT I AM NOT a DOC! Also...Keep in mind your thyroid is not something you want to mess around with...so keep monitoring your BW please....
( remember tsh is read inversely as high means low and low means high)
note: assuming when you say thyroid you are talking about your TSH levelsLast edited by SlimmerMe; 10-24-2011 at 05:52 PM.

OK so 2.64 according to them was in the normal range..we all know doctors dont know shit What should it be???
-
10-26-2011, 07:43 PM #26
How old are you?
My reference range for TSH is .45 - 4.5 which would put you right in the middle.
You really need to have your total thyroxine, free thyroxine, and T3 uptake tested.
Just because your TSH is normal doesn't mean that your T hormones are at the correct levels.

With thyroid a lot also depends on symptoms. If you are fine then nothing to really be concerned about. It is when you have symptoms then the numbers need to be reviewed. I do know that they lowered the normal range for the TSH levels and some real hard core thyroid groups who are outspoken about thyroid being something docs kinda just gloss over, think that getting your TSH below 1 is even better. Again, a lot with symptoms. And getting all your thyroid BW is important especially if you are going to start messing around with it so you have a baseline.

OK so got my t-4 in finally, Euthyrox 50ug.
Can I get by with 50mcg's or do I have to take 100?
-
11-08-2011, 06:13 PM #33
I take 125Ug in the morning on empty stomach and take 2 iu GH. I dont eat for about 45 mins to 1 hour. Once I took coffee with it and it made me jittery, maybe that the effect.

OK so this is the third day on t-4 ar 50mcg's a day. Having a few sides, nervousness and anxiety, difficulty concentrating and hot flashes. Should I reduce the dosage to make the sides go away or should I continue at 50mcg's till my body gets used to it.

Any advice, starting to freak me out, was feeling great on the GH, now with the T-4 not so well. Should I get off it?
-

Are you using pharma grade? you cant mention brands here but where is the stuff from. I tried t3 a few years back and on 25 mcg it gave me those sides. Started Greek pharma T4 a few weeks back and they are 125 mcg. I ramped up slowly starting with a 1/4 of a pill. Im feeling fine. Cut down for a few days and stay away from stimulants, see what happens.
