    Humalog injection question

Just picked up some Humalog, however all the literature i have been reading reccommends you to inject IM immediatley post workout, my pharamacist advised me that all humalog must be injected SUB-C. Clearly she doesnt know i am using the insulin for BB purposes. My question is, will injecting IM just leave a shorter lasting window, and why she would tell me it cannot be injected IM

Also the box reads 10ml. 100u/ml
I got slin U-100 syringes, now when i mix my GH i use the units on the needle as each needle holds ten units..
if i wanted to start with 4iu of insulin do i use 4iu which is .4ml. or would it be .04ml so .4 up to the first unit

im will make it work faster. That not how it is supposed to be used. So she is giving you correct info.

.4ml is 40 units of insulin

its 10ml 100u/ml so thats 100 units ever 1ml so there is 1000 units in your vial

was looking to close the window a bit quicker, due to my schedule, it works better for me to not have it open as long
