    HGH and diabetics

    I'm 48, a diabetic, 6'1, 235 lbs, a bit over weight, I feel good at 210.
I run 30 units of Levemir twice a day, and more than likely 10 units of humalog twice a day.
I do TRT of 200ml TestC every 2nd week.

I feel more and more run down with hardly any energy, my joints are starting to hurt, I'm getting worn out.
I lost my youngest son 3 years ago, depression, drinking myself into a drunken stupor everynight to sleep and shit like that has taken the biggest toll on my body.

I've started back to lifting and running but damn it's hard to come back, so I was looking for some help.

    Any good advice?

    Thanks

im a diabetic and have used gh many times.
Gh will mess with your blood sugar big time. I use lantis and humalog. at 5iu a day of gh. I need to double my lantis and raise my humalog alot. I do my gh injections at night that way i dont eat for a long time after my injection.

I wouldnt recommend it unless you are very good at managing your diabetes

I am not good at it. I was just diagnosed in November when I have a vein burst in my neck, called versies or something like that. The liver is stopped up with fat strips, called non alcoholic fatty liver disease.
I need to try and lose some fat and get back into shape, it's just hard to not eat, I get very shaky when I'm hungry.

    Thanks

then i wouldnt try hgh. High blood sugar will make you fatter.

You are shaky when you are hungry. Is you blood glucose levels low? How many times a day do you test your sugars

    I check 3 to 4 times a day.
I'm trying to lose weight and skip meals with a diabetic shake.
When I skip and my levels get to normal around 100 I get a little shakey, figure I'll adjust to it.
I just was diagnosed with it back in November, but I guess I've had it for a while now.
I'm still adjusting the sliding scale of insulin.

    Thanks

100 is perfect. Yes there ranges i get symptoms at changes for me. There have been times i didnt feel hypo until in the 40's, now i start to feel it at 70.

it has alot to do with your sugar is most of the time. So if your feeling symptoms around 100 your sugar must have been high for a long time. So like you said you will adjust to it.

Do you remember what your a1c was?

I would def hold on the hgh for now. I really think it will do you more harm then good. I've been a diabetic for 26 years. And it takes me a while to straighten out my levels on hgh. Also your going to make sure you prescription of slin is enough because you will take alot more insulin on gh. i probably test about 10 times a day on gh. So you will need alot more strips also

Not what I was wanting to hear, but I'm old enough to listen to good advice. I'll try to learn this sliding scale crap and not eat anything that tastes good and maybe give it a try in the winter.

    Thanks for your input.
