Way over the top IGF-1 blood test result

My friend just came to me with his blood test results. Background is he's on the exact same hgh as I am and I get tested at least 3 times a year. On 3iu's per day I stay in the high 200's low 300's. He's taking 2iu's a day. His test result was 845. Can't remember the unit of measure but it's the same as mine so he's 500+ points over me !

I told him this has to be a mistake. To get these kind of results you'd be taking at least 10iu's a day and your fingers and toes would be growing.

He has had some recent surgeries, removal of Gall Bladder 2 weeks ago, but can't see that having any affect. Can you guys give me an explanation why his number is crazy high ????

I test all the time. I have a baseline before I started anything years ago and I always test just before and 60 days after I start a new batch. I always get from the same supplier and my numbers are always inline. I also have a few other friends on the same stuff and their numbers are inline too. I'm not here to prove or disprove my stuff, but to find out what could have skewed my friends results?

DanB - so what else can consistently give stable, expectable results over the last 4 years? Forgot the name, but it's pregnant womens piss??? But as I recall that will only give a slight bump.

Brohim - I'm happy for you. My baseline IGF-1 before I started anything was 119.

Even at 3iu your igf-1 should be above reference range.

I doubt either of you are taking real GH.....

Guys this is not a thread about bogus hgh ! It's about what could produce a test result IGF level of 845 when taking only 2iu's a day of HGH ? Could it be his Hypothalamus or Pituitary Gland going crazy? Or as I think a bad lab test?

IGF-1 is produced by the liver.

Or it could be a bad lab test, or your buddy could be an amazing responder to GH.

Yep, but the liver needs HGH to convert to IGF-1, right? And I don't think 2iu's a day will result in such a high test number. In addition to this he has no side affects like pain in joints, tinkling fingertips etc. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but let's say it wasn't HGH. What taken in 2iu's a day could give one person a test result of 845 and another person (me) a test result of around 300 and I'm taking 3iu's ??? Must be just a bad test.
