Slin ?
Hey guys going to start a new cycle pretty soon want to throw some slin in, my question is I will be using novolog flex pen, I will start out with 2-3IU's pre workout and work my way up, ok I usually start to train about 5PM so I will do the injection about 4:30 PM or so, train for about 45mins to 1 hour I will be drinking 50 grams protein 50 grams waxy maize shake during workout, get home about 6-6:30 PM wait 30 mins have a high protein low fat meal. Question one should I have another 50 grams of carbs or should I see how I feel. Question 2 I usually go to bed about 9PM will the slin be out of my system by then or is that to early?. Thanks

If you are new to Slin, don't go pre-workout. Go post workout. And use Humalog which peaks in 30 min and clear out of the system in 2-2,5 hours.. So if you work out at 5PM you will end sometime at 6-6,30PM shot slin, drink post slin shake, go home at 7PM eat big meal. At 9PM you are safe and sound for sure.

Thanks Man, I thought humalog and novolog were both fast acting, and yes im new to insulin , may I ask why post workout?

Because Post-workout your muscle are "very hungry for nutrients". That means, when you pin slin and eat carbs and protein the slin will "hold the door into the cell opened" and all the nutrients will end up where you want them... in the muscles.. I would not go pre-workout because you don't know how exactly will your body react to slin, therefore you may go hypo very easy during exercise.. pre workout slin is for advanced slin user.. Mornings and post workout is the way to get to know your body and maybe after 1-2 slin runs like that you may start experimenting.

And i vote pre workout too. Why break down te muscle and then try to repair them
When you can do it all at once. Pluse u wont have to be up for agez before you go to bed

I would start at 6IU at least with 7g cabrs/IU and adjust... 2-3 is too low according to my opinion...

Yea start at at least 5iu n make sure u have enough carbs per iu. Start with more then slowly adjust down the carbs per iu till you find your sweet spot

Novolog and Humalog are practically interchangeable in regards to peak effect and duration of action. The only difference is Humalog's time until onset of action is a little longer (30 to 90 min, where Novolog's is closer to 15 min).
