Apidra kick in time
Well today I figured i would get a little crazy and see how long it takes for my BG to drop after a 10iu shot of apidra. BG before shot 98. After 10min was still 98. After 15min it was 96. At this point I'm thinking my insulin had gone bad, but after 18min it had dropped to 60. Right after 15min it hits

@cape, Apidra is made by Sanofi Aventis. it is classified as Rapid acting, onset time is a little bit slower than some other rapid ones but the peak comes faster and the duration is shorter.
@sauce, thats rather risky business. the IM shots absorption is affected by a couple of things, like if you rubbed the injection site or worked out the muscle then it would hit you quicker because of the increased blood flow.
still interesting info, but be safe
