thanks for the info Brazen, it seems we have a similar shoulder issues. don't we all!
100lbs! damn TR, I am hurting just thinking about it! you know the saying "the mind is willing but the body is weak" yes we definitely have to be careful at our age, its not the weights I am worried about but rather the range of motion, I don't do full range on any of my exercises and it seems to be working well for me, no new injuries. I recently came across a video of Branch Warren and Jonnie Jackson doing legs, and noticed they barely do full range, especially the legs extension, they were barely bending the knees! so yes I agree we need to be careful at our age.

okay an update for noticing something new.
1. been noticing different kind of pain, not sure how to explain it. before TB my joints had this constant dull pain, now the pain is more intermittent, comes and goes but it feels different, kind of like a pain that is healing. same feeling you get after a good workout your muscle are sore the next day then the third day you feel that healing process. hard to explain, but I can feel more details of the pain in stead of that dull pain that you can't pin point where its coming from!
2. yesterday did shoulders and triceps, nothing new on shoulders, but did great on triceps. I had this tendonitis of the outer elbow right on the tip of the bone, you know the kind that won't let you put your elbows on the table! that pain limited me doing heavy weights, well yesterday was the first time in 14 months did heavy weights and no discomfit whatsoever, I was tempted to increase the weights but luckily over came the temptation. so the pain on my outer elbows is hardly noticeable.
3. last night we were watching some funny videos and was laughing so hard to the point where I got this uncontrollable cough, and kept discharging mucus like if it was bronchitis. I though I was going to choke, but after it all cleared I got this huge relief and felt like I had new lungs! not sure if this is related to TB but I haven't had this kind of an attack in years!
anyway, not necessary related to TB but I thought I'll post it just in case it is.

You must have ordered the tb-500 that comes with the mutation option... lol. Good to hear you're making some progress already. Not sure if this stuff works that fast but everyone is different. If it is the tb-500 then I'm thinking you can expect much better improvement in the future.

I go to a chiropractor every two weeks and some how he manages to pop my shoulder and this was before TB, and it felt great, unfortunately all it take is one workout and it out of place again. this Friday will see chiro again and we'll see what happens when he pops my shoulder!

I'd love each n ever spine joint popped... I believe I'd be in heaven. Unless a mate "big sam" (n I'm 245lbs) lol man hugs me they never pop. Missus stands no chance lol. She's offered to walk on it but. I feel like my lower spine could do with being pulled outward a bit. Its always curled in pushing my solar plexus out. No doubt what the ladies want.
But I do not. Almost makes me look like I got a beer gut?!? N no. I don't!!!!:/ lol

its shoulders day today but decided not do them until the cycle is finished. my right shoulder is feeling a little better so I'll give it a brake until the cycle is complete then start easy. I figured if TB is helping why not give it a chance to do its work.

I think that is the way to go too. I kept working out because the tb-500 made it tolerable to do so. This next cycle will be weight lifting free (upper body) for the entire cycle. The only thing I will work will be legs (and boy are they gonna get it) and cardio out the ying yang. Hope to get back to the weights after the cycle leaner and meaner, er, healed I mean! And then I am going to start low weight and concentrate on doing it right instead of doing a lot of weight just because I can... Trying to bodybuild, not be a powerlifter, after all (nothing wrong with powerlifters though!). Got to start playing it smart now that I'm getting older even when/if my head says I can do it.

I watch allot of bodybuilders youtube videos and learn allot from them, I never want to do what they do (way too old for that anyway) but try to learn their philosophy about bodybuilding, and every bodybuilder is known for something. just look at how many bodybuilders ended their career at their peak by pushing the limits, like Dorian Yates, Ronnie Coleman who had 3-4 back surgeries! I Love Kai Greene's philosophy, he believes in Mind Control! here is a video him explaining the difference between bodybuilding and weightlifting,

I've decided to make the tough decision to limit my workouts too. Tweaked my shoulder (rotator cuff) badly, last friday, carrying some light bags of garbage to my truck, and again, later that night, reaching around, to scrub my back. Hurt quite a bit, for a few days, and I was bummed that I was hampering my TB therapy. Today, I'm impressed that I'm virtually pain free! Could this stuff really be working, after only 11 days??

That nails it on the head for me. All the injuries I am dealing with today are from lifting too much weight with, at best, sloppy form when I was younger and thought I knew what I was doing and had to keep up with the other idiots in the gym. Now I just want to build some muscle and shape it. I was doing 15 pounds on the incline dumbbell curls today and was very surprised at how hard they were to do proper and how good of a pump I got from them. Just 15 pounds!

I can't say for sure, but been experiencing the same thing a week after TB shot. you never know, everyone responds differently.
you and me brother. I wish I educated myself first before lifting, I am ashamed to tell you how I did my workouts way back then, they are so stupid. some of us learn the easy way and some learn the hard way!

I just did my second injection of 6 Mg's. I am changing my protocol to one injection of 6 Mg's a week for 6 weeks. My vials are in 2 Mg's so it is just quicker and easier for me to do 6 Mg's at a time. I have not read to many logs so I am not sure at a higher dose is just a waste or if it could help. So far I have not notice anything different yet pain wise.

Week three Third Shot
okay, forget splitting the dose to twice a week, I seem to keep forgetting to do it, maybe its meant to be. so i'll change my protocol on my first post, and it'll be 5 mgs ew for 8 weeks, I'll just have to buy few more vials.
nothing to report, stayed off my shoulder and still hurts when I raise my arm, I am going to request my doc order an MRI, it feels like a torn tendon, its just not getting any better, in fact no noticeable changes so far. the brief pain relive I was experiencing a week ago or so could have been anything! will keep you posted. now time to do legs...

OK I just did my third injection of 6 Mg's. Still feel the same. I did come across some info on TB500 on a drug distribution site for racing horses. Here is the copy and paste:
Thymosin Beta 4, also known as TB500 or TB-500, is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring peptide present in virtually all-human and animal cells, Thymosin Beta 4 (T4). It is a first-in-class candidate that promotes the following*:
WHAT THIS DOES:
1. Increases Red Blood Cells
2. Stops bleeding
3. Increase Endurance
4. Reduces Tie Up
5. Helps breathing
6. Reduces stomach acid which eliminates ulcers
7. Increases lean muscle mass
8. Helps repair tendons and ligaments
* Endothelial (blood vessels) cell differentiation (increases red blood cells)
* Angiogenesis (growth of new blood cells from pre-existing vessels) in dermal tissues
* Keratinocyte migration
* Collagen deposition; and
* Decreases inflammation.
One of Thymosin Beta 4's key mechanisms of action is its ability to regulate the cell-building protein, Actin, a vital component of cell structure and movement. Of the thousands of proteins present in cells, actin represents up to 10% of the total proteins which therefore plays a major role in the genetic makeup of the cell.
This potent peptide is a member of a ubiquitous family of 16 related molecules with a high conservation of sequence and localization in most tissues and circulating cells in the body. Thymosin Beta 4 not only binds to actin, but also blocks actin polymerization and is the actin-sequestering molecule in eukaryotic cells.
Thymosin Beta 4 was identified as a gene that was up-regulated four-to-six fold during early blood vessel formation and found to promote the growth of new blood cells from the existing vessels. This peptide is present in wound fluid and when administered subcutaneously, it promotes wound healing, muscle building and speeds up recovery time of muscles fibres and their cells.
An additional key factor of T4 is that it promotes cell migration through a specific interaction with actin in the cell cytoskeleton. It has been demonstrated that a central small amino acid long-actin binding domain has both blood cell reproduction and wound healing characteristics. These characteristics are uncovered by accelerating the migration of endothelial cells and keratinocytes. It also increases the production of extracellular matrix-degrading enzymes.
Research confirms that T4 is a potent, naturally occurring wound repair factor with anti-inflammatory properties. T_¨_4 is different from other repair factors, such as growth factors, in that it promotes endothelial and keratinocyte migration. It also does not bind to the extracellular matrix and has a very low molecular weight meaning it can travel relatively long distances through tissues.Last edited by beerdogg; 08-31-2013 at 07:32 PM.

Week Four-Forth Shot
took my forth shot yesterday. the last couple of days I noticed knee pain is less especially when doing leg workout, elbow doing good, less pain, shoulder little better but nothing significant, probably because I been skipping shoulder workouts! also take 2 ibuprofen ed, can't do without, I need it for my arthritis. lost about 2 pounds or so since starting TB, not sure if related, I've not made any changes in my diet or exercise.

Update!
woke up this morning with almost no pain while doing normal movements, after few hours and still feeling the same. the kind of pain I am talking about is the morning aches like stiff joints, sore shoulder from sleeping on it, back muscle spasm, etc... also I did something to my left hip joint few days ago and couldn't walk without limping, that has gone down significantly. all this seemed to happen overnight! not saying I am healed, but little to no pain with normal movements.
now I have added few supplements and not sure if they are having an effect with pain management. I've added,
L-Arginene (started 3 days ago)
L-Citrulline (started 3 days ago)
Chromium Picolinate (started yesterday)
EGCg Green Tea Extract (started yesterday)

Took my fourth shot of 6mgs yesterday. Strain in shoulder seems to be getting better but the pain in my forearms are the same if not a little bit worst. Will continue and see what happens.

Fifth Week Fifth Shot
UPDATE:
okay, took my 5mg shot few minutes ago.
1. so far the ankles are doing so much better, in fat I hardly notice any pain.
2. left elbow tendonitis is almost gone despite lifting.
3. still not working out my shoulders, right shoulder seem to be getting better but far from recovery.
4. knees doing much better, I was able to bend them more during hack squats and no pain, scared to go lower for now.
5. the last couple of week developed inner elbow tendonitis on my right arm, frustrated, didn't expect this to happen. been lifting the same weights!
6. lower back muscle is better but not by much.
so far I been using none ARR TB, but can't wait to start on it as it seems better quality packaging. the dry cake in ARR 2 mg vial is bigger than the dry cake in competitor's 5mg vial. also noticed the cake in the competitor's vial was lose in all 6 vials, basically bouncing around but the cake disk stayed intact. ARR cake is stuck to the bottom and its in perfect shape. I got one more 5mg from competitor, after next shot i'll use ARR and see if progress pace changes.

So Bass ,in your experience is $36.00 a 5mg dose plus bac. water a good investment ? When you reconstitute the TB, how much bac water to a 5mg vial do you add. Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I have no clue what one would do if following this treatment.
-
09-12-2013, 04:43 PM #73
yes sounds about right, I put just enough to dissolve the cake, approximately 20 lines using the slin pin. don't know how potent is the 5mg I got, that's why I got 6 more 2mg vials from ARR, they were on sale and paid around $30 or so for each!

Did my 5th shot of 6mgs yesterday. I really don't feel much difference. My shoulder strain is getting better but I think it would have gotten better just with this amount of time gone by. My forearm pain is the same since it started. I really believe I have bad tb500 and will be sending a complaint email to the supplier. I will give them a chance to make it right before I reveal them. The supplier is not ar-r . I have two 5 mg vials and will continue this experiment for two more weeks. Then I will take a break and maybe try a more reliable source.

same here, i was expecting more out of this TB, I believe the changes are due to resting, still taking pain killers, and if I stop pain comes back. i was disappointed when i got tendonitis on my right elbow in the middles of TB cycle, so i am assuming the TB i got (not from ARR) is weak or bunk, maybe that's why it was so cheap! i got one more shot tomorrow, and will make it my sixth of 5mgs, then start on ARR 2 mgs vial. i am still going to continue my log at least once a week until i am done with all vials including ARR. hoping to get better results from ARR TB. we'll see.

Sixth Week Sixth Shot
took my last none ARR TB500 5 mgs, still disappointed with the right elbow tendonitis and left hip pain. these are new injuries in the middle if TB cycle, didn't expect it. anyway, next week i'll start ARR TB500 2mgs ew and see what happens... nothing new to report.

Seventh Week Seventh Shot 2mgs
Update:
just took seventh shot but this time only 2mgs from ARR, I was on 5mgs from competitor. right shoulder doing much better, been resting it from the start of TB cycle. as mentioned in previous posts I developed right elbow tendonitis and left hip tendonitis, but now both seem to be fading away but not yet ready to use them.
I feel that 5mgs I was using really didn't do much, i would have probably recovered the same from resting, which i think is what happened. so we'll see how ARR 2mgs ew will do. until next time.

just a quick update, since my right shoulder is doing better, yesterday did my first shoulder workout in 6 weeks but only half of the usual weights, it felt great, so i'll include shoulders from now on but slowly ramp up the weights.

Well to update my log I did 5mg last Saturday from the same crappy source I have been using. I did go and buy 6 2mg vials from a new source which I know is good. Today I injected 2mg from new source and I also added Mod GRF 1-29 and Ipam 100mcg each which I will be taking 3 times a day working it up to 5 times a day. No news to report on my injuries since the past 5 weeks I have been injecting crap TB4 or what were calling it here TB500.
