looking for some opinions/advice

Starting out subq and then probably moving to IM. Using around 6 units max per injection, doing post workout shots for 3-4 weeks. My friend has though recommended small pre-workout shots while consuming a lot of sugar, for better performance during exercises, any thoughts/experience with this?
So 3x per week up to 6 ius, starting out low and charting the peak and onset while fasting on a non workout day to check my regular response. I will start out with about 15g carbs/iu, munching on glucose tabs every five minutes or so. I will be using a gainer/whey protein, creatine, glutamine and glucosamine but wondering about doses since the insulin will grant more absorption, i was thinking of doing close to double regular doses during the window on injection days. any thoughs on the supplimentation during window?
workouts on injection days will incorporate volume/hypertrophy sets/reps of squats mostly, pulls maybe presses also. training mostly consists of Weightlifting, clean&jerk and snatch complexes with low intensity.
average calories will hopefully be above 3500 with normal food, throwing in some shakes for maybe around 2000 more with good fats and fibers (i skip the peanutbutter in the shakes during insulin window).
