    Slin opinions

    What's up guys?

I have a question for everyone, I'm going to be running insulin and my primary source of carbs is going to be dextrose and a mass gainer and my question is my gainer has 2 grams of fat per serving w/ a little less than 1 gram of saturated fat per serving. Is this going to be a problem can I still run this even though it has a couple grams? My main concern isn't fat accumulation but rather my cardiac health. What are some thoughts?

    Thanks

just use straight dextrose and protein powder. don't mess around with some "mass gainer"

Its ON mass gainer. And I liked the idea of it because it has some complex carbs in It. I thought this would be good for the type of slin I have being its Hum R. I was going to add dextrose for approite amount of ius dosed. My thoughts were this would fill in gap from PWO shake to meal 1 1\2 hours later. Of course going to monitor glucose every 30 mins first week or so. But I was interested in getting some feedback on anyone's information on how insulin effects cholesterol and the heart. I've done my own research on such and several experts in the field point excess insulin or chronic high glycmic foods as the culprit to heart disease. Was thinking this might apply to our application of insulin and fats.

I run slin pretty constantly and my blood work is fine. Oddly, my A1C goes high. Go figure!
Don't stress over it too much. Just get 10g of fast carbs per IU of slin and start around 5IU of slin. Hell, I use plain old table sugar myself! You should be fine and have a backup soda handy just in case.
I like Hum R as it's not too quick. I like the effect. Just monitor yourself closely for 2 or 3 hours after you pin until you get use to it. Don't go to sleep either. It makes you sleepy as hell!
I generally gain a pound a week or better just on slin BTW.
Good luck and keep us posted!

please use something more rapid, Humulin is harder to deal with. you want it in and out quickly, in theory - given that you do not make mistakes that are fatal, intramuscular Apidra or Viaject inhaler would be optimal.

Intramuscular apidra should be peaking 30% sooner than sub-q
Viaject/Afrezza peaks at 15 mins and leaves faster than anything on the market

Hey guys thanks for the response. I'm currently finishing up my second week with slin. the results have been good to say the least. I've been gaining about 2 pounds a week, and my strength is going up considerably every week. For example, final set rep numbers have almost doubled on all lifts.

I haven't fully accepted that these awesome results must be due to the slin, but by typing this up I'm realizing that I'm making some nice gains. Ill have more to report in a couple weeks thanks again for your responses. I'm currently at only 8ius post work out. The plan was to work up to 10ius probably going to start 9 next week. Lets hope the gains keep coming, I feel like I've been staying fairly lean over this, been running cardio on my off days to keep fat accumulation to a minimum.

Been using Hum R and in my experience its plenty fast it seems to be almost completely out of the system at the 3 hour mark and it peaks between 1 - 1.5 hours. Been using it IM to speed up onset and total duration and it seems to be a good time frame for me. Shake and 2 meals and I'm golden. Using 1/2 inch slin pins and jabbing legs after upper body and jabbing shoulders when I work legs. I'm around 12% BF so its not to hard to get an IM injection. It might not be deep IM but its in the muscle for sure.

For hypo safety I bought some orange soda to keep it in my house in various places, and in my gym bag I have those big Arizona teas with 100gs sugar a piece in them with no carbonation for easy chugging! Haven't had any close calls though, I used my glucose monitor pretty consistently the first week until I got the hang of the timing.

    Schedule:
    Workout
PWO still at the gym Pin
Shake: 73g simple carbs/ 56g complex carbs (quick oats)
    45mins
Meal 1: 6 ounce chicken, white rice/86g carb
    2-2.5hr
Meal 2: 5 ounce chicken, brown rice/66g carb
    done
I might need to be downing more ounces of chicken with my meals, but Ill save that for the cycle I'm starting end of May

I've been looking into peptides a bit was thinking of throwing in some CJC and GHRP2 into the mix and possibly some IGF1 LR3. That's down the road a ways though. Trying to make some legit gains this summer and through the next winter so I can compete in 2015. My women keeps telling me that I need to compete since I'm investing all this time, energy, and MONEY into these endeavors.

Ill catch you guys later any input is appreciated!
