    Random stomach pain from subq in belly?

    Does anyone get random stomach pains from sub q belly injection?

    Yeah I got it when using 29g 1ml insulin pins but not anymore with 31g .5" .5ml slin pins.

    Sometimes I feel localized PIP with 29g needle. It normally happens when I inject too far from my belly button. Then again, it doesn't at other times. Must be my injection technique.

    If you do mean actual stomach pain then its easy to fix, just use a needle that's about 2 inch's shorter.
