    Cytomel

    Quick question.

My UGL guy doesn't sell "T3" or "T4" but lists it as cytomel .

    Same thing?

Why should one run this alongside HGH? I'm running 2iu HGH 5 on 2 off, building up levels until a test cycle in May. I'm a little paranoid of running cytomel right now and having it eat my muscle tissue.

Is that a legit concern? Run it anyway?

    Yes, Cytomel = T3.

Yes, it is a concern. T3 does not discriminate what it "eats". I personally would not run T3 without Test for fear of losing LBM.

Try and get T4, synthroid . Works better with GH.

Just for the HGH. No issues with my thyroid.

That's kind of what confuses me. I don't really know why I keep reading that you are supposed to take T3 with growth, it makes no sense to me. I would think that it metabolizes everything from fat to muscle, and that's not necessarily what I want. I'm more after strength gains, recovery, and some help with a knee/shoulder problem I have. I have a strong muscle foundation that I don't want to lose.

Yes its T3. I would do bloodwork and see before I jumped on it myself. Some need it,,,some don't.

I run T4 with my HGH. 100mcg/ed will help amplify the HGH fat loss benefits.

    So bloodwork came back at

    Thyroid stimulating hormone: 2.42 miu/L

I have T3, should I add it in or are my levels high enough I don't have to worry about it?

Alta, GH reduces T3s ability to do its job, but improves the conversion rate of T4 to T3, the most natural way to supplement thyroid during GH use is to add T4 to the regiment. Another benefit of T4 over t3 is, its half life is 4 days. At lower doses both T4 and T3 can be anabolic , i use T3 on occasions at 12.5mcg per day and at this level it will increase metabolic rate by approximately 3% and also it will be anabolic as well. however its best to supplement gh with T4 at about 100mcg per day, the average conversion rate of T4 to T3 is 25%, so 100mcg of T4 effectively is 25mcg of T3. Good luck!

    So I guess it's a good thing I didn't take 100mcg of T3 this AM......

So from what I have read on the net and on this forum, T3 actually inhibits the effectiveness of HGH. Do not use alongside HGH.

T3 set aside for the time being.

Once again, this board comes through. Love the knowledge in here!
