So, question on HGH and other

46 years old and I have been on TRT for a few years. Still have some belly fat because diet is not great. 5'10, 205 bodyfat roughly around 25-30% going by images.

Would I benefit from 6mos cycle of HGH, thinking 2-3iu daily. Having quite a bit of joint pain (arthritis) and wear and tear on shoulders from work.

Would also like to see the fat burning effects, sleeping better and muscle gain. I do work out 3-5 times a week with some cardio Biking and walking.


Biggest question is that I'm not sure the value of HGH would be there at that amount for anti aging or if I would be better running something else.


TRT - 65mg at 2 times a week. No ai. HCG 250 2x a week. I have been running the same TRT I ran with a Dr supervision back when I started but now I am doing it myself. It has been a while since I have had blood work done. Last time was almost 2 years ago when I changed source and brand of test.

for fat burning , you may be better off and save a ton of money by simply running HGH-Frag , which is simply the fat burning strand of HGH.

HGH is not going to do much, from my experience, for arthritis and inflammation (Deca is much better for that).

HGH has side effects to consider - it slows down the conversion of T4 into T3 (ultimately slowing down your metabolism), it causes quite a bit of lethargy (sure you may sleep better at night, but you'll want to sleep all day too) , it causes hyper-glycemia (elevating blood sugars to the point that on a blood test you may fall within the category of pre-diabetc . . . also elevated blood sugars cause and speed up the aging process, even though hgh is called an 'anti aging' drug). HGH causes water retention, weight gain, and edema in some joints like the wrists (leading to carpal tunnel).

HGH definitely has its benefits . I've taken it for years. I take 5iu per day currently. BUT I take it for certain reasons and I combine it with other things that make it more effective and limit its side effects . HGH as a stand alone drug is definitely not worth the price you pay for it. however combined with other compounds it can be very synergistic

Have not heard of HGH frag. Is that what it would be called or something else?

HGH Frag is a Peptide.

If your diet is not great then fixing that will solve your problem. Why not post your meal plan either in this thread or diet/nutrition section so we can help you improve upon it ? Even if you had fat loss from steroids / drugs, not correcting the diet is going to put you right back to where you started.

just for further clarification . HGH-Frag is NOT what is commonly know as a GHRP (growth hormone releasing Peptide). so its not a peptide in that sense (though if you want to get technical HGH itself is technically a 'peptide' hormone).
HGH-Frag is not like , semorlen, or ghrp, or other peptides . HGH-frag is actually a cut off sequence of actual growth hormone itself.

Growth hormone itself is a sequence chain of 191 amino acids. HGH-Frag is a modified form of amino acids 176-191 of the GH polypeptide.
the amino acids that make up GH itself from number 176-191 are the section of GH that is responsible for its fat loss qualities. so what HGH-Frag is is simply that sequence of actual HGH removed and made into its own form.

example- imagine taking testosterone and breaking it down chemically and then only taking part of the chemical structure that is responsible for muscle building and leaving everything else behind.

thats what HGH-frag is . its HGH with everything removed except for HGH's fat burning properties.

I would definitely pull labs more frequently (a.i. needs/dosages can change as we get older) and I just feel it is wise to pull relevant labs on a more regular basis.

Personally I like including HGH, especially if dealing with a nagging injury (I'm 54 years old)
I naturally run the upper end.of the IGF-1 scale @ 190-210ng/mL think the reference range is 61-200ng/mL. Just by adding in 1.8 iu of Serostim or Saizen, my IGF-1 value jumps to 407ng/mL.
If you have joint issues, be aware that running GH @ high doses can actually exacerbate joint problems/conditions.

I do give HGH a good bit of credit in helping me recover from Musculocutaneous nerve entrapment.

Edit: I'm not discounting the posts on HGH-frag or suggesting to use it as I have no real world experience with it, however it is certainly worth looking into it, especially if it fits the parameters of what you are looking for.
Also, it may not be something you want to try, but I feel a few servings of bone broth/week is good for joints in general.
