    Carb Supercompensation + SLIN

I've decided on Monday I'm going to start Lyle McDonald's Ultimate Diet 2.0, which is essentially slashing calories by 50% for 4 days; doing full body depletion routines, then doing a carb load of 1000+ grams over a 24 hour period; starting the 4th night, and ending the 5th night... then hitting a heavy full body power workout the 6th day, followed by a maintenance day off, then repeat.

He mentions the use of slin would be very beneficial doing the high carb supercompensation period, which begins the night the final day of low carb, and ends the night of high carb (24hrs)

How much slin would be needed to clear out 500-750g of carbs per day for two days? I only intend on using the slin on these two days only.

didn't you just spend a month loading up your glycogen stores with slin and training, and now you want to deplete them all

if your going to load up with 700g of carbs and use insulin to help do it , then you need to break it down per meal and not per 'total carbs'. the reason being is that as a non diabetic your still going to be producing endogenous amounts of inulin when you load these carbs. but your not going to know how much. so take it one meal at a time.
example, take in 15iu of insulin and 200g of carbs in meal one. wait a couple hours and monitor blood sugar. if your blood sugar is LOW, then on your next meal loading only take in say 8iu of insulin and then 200g of carbs,, take your blood sugar again a couple hours later and determine how much insulin you should take with your 3rd meal.

so again you don't know exactly how much natural insulin your going to be producing. so take it one meal at a time and monitor the process as you go.

edit- keep in mind Novalin r is going to have a secondary peak at about the 2 hour mark. so you may want to break your meals up with this secondary peak in mind

Yes I did, and I gained a few pounds, but I am not happy with how I look so I'm getting rid of this fat.

    I appreciate the feedback.

indeed, and does this secondary peak also include each injection?

    So if I took slin 3x a day, I should have 3 2hr peaks?
