Blood in goquick pen

Took my shot this morning 2.7 iu and after I saw that a drop of blood retracted into the pen cartridge. Is this normal? I have about half the cartridge left is it ok to inject with blood in it?

You got a source of bacteria in the pen now, imho, I'd use that pen within a 3 day period.

I could be wrong, but gut says that's an issue

Update: my source said that if this were generic hgh it would be an issue but since this is pharm and is a pen cartridge there are compounds that purify the content and so blood in the cartridge won’t be an issue

Agree with couch 100%. Just cuz it’s pharm grade doesn’t mean blood isn’t gonna make it a non sterile environment anymore. I wouldn’t use that pen anymore. I’m sure it wasn’t cheap and that’s why your hesitant to toss it and I don’t blame you. But trust me that’s not clean or sterile anymore. You’re risking infection man.

Pharma doesn't make it immune to microbiology.

If you get an infection from the contamination, get put on antibiotics and whatever you gained from GH is going to be lost if not more.

This occurs with insulin pens often. Insulin pens and pharma GH use the same type of fluid. I can't recall off the top of my head what it's called but it has a very distinct smell. Reminds me of hospital sanitizer. They don't tell you to discard the insulin pen. They advise not to share the insulin pen with other people as pens are single patient use only. Genos and norditropins I have experience with and the fluid smells the same as humalog, Humulin, and lantus insulins.

Pharma GH can't just be a sterile water solution because a pen is suppose to last at least 28 days and can be stored unrefrigerated during that time.

It gets foggy and looses potency
