There are 2 tests that are frequently used, Serum GH which most often is used to detect a deficiency, and IGF-1 testing which is useful if you have a baseline value.
Your IGF-1 range is dependent upon your age and your test will provide the reference range.
Also, with serum GH, there is typically more than 1 blood draw since endogenous GH is released in pulses.
Personally, I would drop the GH for a week and go get an IGF-1 test to give you a baseline. IGF-1 levels will return fairly rapidly after you drop the GH injections. Then after restarting the GH injections, go pull your IGF-1 panel again and see how your GH has affected your IGF-1 values.
For instance, my IGF-1 value is typically just over the top of the range (around 218 or so) for my age ( I'm almost 55) without GH injections.
When using GH, ~1.8 iu puts me in the mid- 400s. That is using pharma GH ( Serostim, Omnitrope, Norditropin, Humatrope, etc.).
I would definitely avoid the online test kits as they aren't really useful; they would only indicate the presence of GH not the purity.
