    Question

Hey guys, just started test 600 mg weekly, diol 50 mg for 8-10 weeks. Haven’t decided. And insulin 20 iu daily- novalin r. I’m really gonna ramp up the carbs to 600 maybe 700 grams daily. The only way this will be possible for me is to drink a lot of the carbs like oj and what not. Never consistently ate that amount of carbs. Is this common practice for you guys? Interested in opinions. Also, would I be better off splitting the insulin dose in two shots? Thanks for all opinions

Orange Juice is fine because it's a very good source of potassium which is lacking for many athletes. 4000-4700mg is a good potassium goal which is hard to achieve if you aren't deliberate about it.

You could also make your own shakes - whole milk, powdered peanut butter, fruit, ground oats, etc.

If you are struggling with the carbs you can also introduce fruit which tend to have low satiety. The other option is you can split a meal into two mini meals. Carbs in general are very satisfying but low satiety. So for example you could eat rice, then 20-40 mins later eat the chicken rather than together

Thanks for the response, good thinkin about eating carbs first. I got in the habit of eating protein first so I may try that. As far as splitting the insulin dose, I was thinkin morning 10 iu, workout food then six hours later 10 iu and food. After window is shut on active life get the fats in at night. Would this be a better approach than 20 off the rip. Would carb sensitivity be affected much worse with split or no? Thanks in advance

It usually peeks in 45 minutes.... You're going to go hypo before eating

My bad, inject 20 iu then eat 50 G protein,100 grams carbs.50 mg dbol Workout whiledrinking half gallon oj (225 c)with bcaa s then 50 g carb and 60 G protein shake. I’ll eat another carb meal couple hours later then after about six hours I’ll get my fats in. I was just drinking a Gatorade intra workout. Gettin a couple hundred extra carbs this route. Today pushed it to 25 iu. Big difference. Anyways the peak is around 1.5- 3 hours. The onset is 30 minutes. I’ve been hypo several times so I’m well aware of that feeling as I’ve ran low carbs with it before. What are your guys opinions on splitting the dose 10 or 12 iu then six hours later another 10 or 12 iu versus 20 or 25 iu off the rip?

Yes I’ve done slim a few times now. I’ve mapped my bloodwork before, thirty minutes after, two hours, then four hours. All while adjusting carbs in the beginning. Now I just shoot the shit and eat my carbs after I found out it wasn’t the devil. Still over 25 iu I feel a little weird so I keep it around there. I can hit thirty with two shots. I know gh has a couple threads of which I found a lot of info from. I just wanted to get another one started. The more it’s talked about the more opportunity to learn. This subject doesn’t seem to be touched on much until gh came along thankfully

I know after and while working out much more blood is pumping through the muscles so I’ve been shooting the full amount before workout. Off days I break it up and shoot it first thing in the morning and around 1 or so in the evening- dbol is fuckin awesome with this stuff btw. Goal is to gain weight to compete again next year in 40+ masters. Gettin old

Awesome I hope you do really well if you compete. I’d love to compete again but I can’t run the gear required so I’m HRT for life.

I appreciate it man, yea it’s all about if you can handle the tren lol. I competed last year in classic physique and came in sixth smh. Didn’t have a coach- big mistake. Posing is what really got me. I was kinda learning what to do while I was up there lol. You tube videos will only get you so far. I’ll get a posing coach next time around for sure but I’ll do my own diet and training again. I’ve been on the trt train for about four years now myself with no regrets. Got sick of cycling and pct
