Trulicity experience
So, decided to try the product. The marketing material is out there and it answers most of the questions chemically what the clinical trials reported. Reality can be different from the clinic. This is my experience.
Increased insulin sensitivity. Somewhat yes. Actual dosage has not changed but results of dosage have to some degree. Fasting level sugar decreased by about 5%.
Appetite reduction. Big Yes. I can eat less than 2000 calories a day and be full. I have worked my way to 1500 calories M-F with no hunger issues.
A1c reduction. Yes. The first two weeks I dropped A1c by over 1.5 points.
The Skinny on the product.
First 2 weeks of taking Trulicity was horrible. Stomach distress on the daily with diarrhea at ridiculous levels. Days of the weekly shots were the worst. Basically if you eat you feel like crap. Had to force a 500 calorie lunch and then see what my body would allow for dinner. Acid reflux was horrible. Not a great experience from the start.
After 2 weeks everything started to settle down. Meals twice a day at about 1/3 normal portion. Still feel it is too much food and intestinal pain occurs.
Overall thought. If you have an issue with eating too much this can solve it. I am confident after 90 days my A1c will be half what it was. In one month my BMI dropped by 3 points and weight dropped by 4 kilograms. At about 70 USD a week I would say it is an answer to some issues people face. Many people carry 15--30 kgs weight (Like Me) they do not need. I push the weights as good as anyone but some aspects of diet are not easy for me. For my issues this is appearing to be the item I was needing.
