generally higher testosterone would lead to acne...
fluctuating test levels lead to acne
Not necessarily. Test DOES NOT=Acne.Originally Posted by Explosive215
Yeah but higher TEST levels = More sebum production. Acne is caused when the pores are pouring out sebum and get clogged. So the more sebum you're producing the more chance there is to get clogs. White comedos (whiteheads) are full blockages and black comedos (blackheads) are partial blockages. I recommend a 2% salicylic acid solution applied once a day for a week or so then twice a day up to three times a day or as much as you can tolerate without drying of the skin.
Still go see a dermatologist...he/she wil prescribe a creme such as differin gel and probably an antibiotic like accutane.....The doctor will suggest another consultation in a month or so to see you progress, and make any adjustments if your acne is not clearing up....maybe even prescribe a stonger treatment.Originally Posted by Girlyman
There are so many over the counter product and eveyone reacts different...some may make acne worse in some people so it's best to see a dermatologist to give perscribed medication....Anyways acne tends to fluctuate especially in younger people.
I hear you get it on PCT most often, when your natural test levels begin to bounce back
