    ACL reconstruction

I am having my surgery tomorrow and was wondering how long should I wait until I can safely start my first cycle? My first cycle will consist of a Test cyp only cycle. I was wondering how reasonable would it be to request clomid, nolvadex, clenbuterol, and possibly deca-durabolin from my treating doc? I am 22yrs old 185pounds about 10%bf 5'10'' and happy with my height. Can you give me a walk-thru how I could persuade my doc into prescribing any of the drugs. If this walk-thru is against the rules(like asking for source) then plz don't answer them as I am new and don't want any trouble. On a side note I have 1 yr as of tomorrow to get into good enough shape to go through Marines bootcamp and was going to use that excuse to help persuade the doc for the deca plus the water retention is good for my bum knee.

your doc will NOT prescribe you anything unless you have a test ratio deficit and at your age i doubt you do. don't even ask, i think its a terrible plan! find a source and buy what you need

do the physical therapy without any of it...there are some suggesstions that acl tears are a result of AAS use..depleting the ligaments of calcium and magnesium..i have had four knee acl surgeries..and im finaly starting to believe that it may be true

Yes I agree.. Let it heal naturally!! And when you do a cycle, construct your cycle with collagen synthesis in mind! As in, use ones that help support tendon and ligament growth!! TEST will not help!

Would test cyp be adequate? This is going to be my first cycle and I was planning on doing it in about 6-8months . Being my first cycle taking deca and Test cyp wouldn't be overkill?

throw the question in the steroid form.. I just finished my first cycle which was straight cyp.. the problem is that increase in water, hides pain in joints and ligaments and then when you come off, BOOM... Test actually decreases collagen synthesis.. If your waiting 6-8 months though, I would imagine your knee would be near fully recovered with proper physio!

that is exactly what my orthopedic sugeron said he would put me on if it was any where in the standard of care for my toren shoulder. He said complete physical therapy and start a morderate dose of AAS. all of this was said off the record.

One of the first things you should do after the op is get a therapist that has a excellent understanding of biomechanics and start your rehab. The main goal of the rehab is to restore the anatomy of the joint, rebuild and maintain your aerobic and psychological well being, regain static and dynamic strength and finally allow as early a return to sports and normal life as possible. When your not with the therapist you should use R.I.C.E treatment, which is rest, ice, compression and elevation
    • Rest - Getting off the leg periodically throughout the day and resting the knee on pillows this is to avoid excess postoperative swelling and pain.
    • Ice - Placing a ice pack around the knee controls pain and swelling.
    • Compression - Carefully placing an ace wrap for compression around the knee allowing you to control some of the swelling. Be careful that the wrap is not too tight to interfere with circulation to the lower leg.
    • Elevation - Lying down with the knee in a cold compress and elevated higher than the level of the chest is helpful in controlling and reducing swelling.

As far as returning to heavy training, running, or any agility training you should at least give it 6-8 months? Listen to you physical therapist, if you ignore their advice you will only make your recovery slower and leave greater chance for the injury the come back.
Stay off the gear man…a lot of tears result form that stuff…make your comeback clean allow your ligaments to come back to full strength.
    Good luck with everything

I know exactly what your going through. I tore my ACL a month ago playing college rugby and Im having surgery in 3 weeks. Im the exact same height weight and age as you as well. I joined the Marines last summer and since I am having surgery I cant go to SOI this year. It sucks ass. My 8 week tren/prop cycle is ending 2 days before my surgery! Hopefully I can keep atleast some of my gains after in on my ass for a long time after the surgery.
