my pain switches postions (please read)

My back/neck condition seems like it wants to leave my body but what it does now is switch... Like what I mean is, say my neck hurts? It'll hurt for a while than it'll just leave, than in about 5-10 mins, my back'll hurt...and my neck would be fine... Than it would switch again. I dont get this at all... it's friggen insane...than sometimes on my real bad days, they'll both hurt.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of this pain and think im gonna just give up my dream of bodybuilding, which makes me wanna cry but,

please ANY help... and i go to doctors, they cant find nothing

I also wanted to add that I have a heating pad I've been using for my back at night. The types you plug in... is that helping, hurting, or doing nothing??

I plan on icing after this but should I eliminate the heating pad also?
