Some feedback on Retin-A please
I've been losing the battle with acne lately on my shoulder/traps and certain areas of my chest.
I've heard about Nizoral and have been using that for about 2 weeks now along with Retin-A. I purchased the Retin-A from a research chem site.
Anyhow, the acne on my shoulder/traps and chest has become altered ever since I've been using the Retin-A (it's been about one week). Instead of pimples with heads and whatnot, the acne has now smoothed over and is pinkish and almost glossy. Is this the Retin-A working? I have a natural olive skin tone but am pretty pale due to the winter time. Anyhow, once I tan will the pink tone sort of disspate?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I can take pictures if that would help?

It takes a while but it works and its the retin a working
it will peel the first few layers of skin off and then grow back new skin but eventually your skin will stop breaking out.
you ARE going to burn in those places because it is new skin(the pink areas)

True, true. Yeah I have been experencing some peeling so I guess this stuff is doing it's job. Thanks for the clarification Bryan.
EDIT: Actually could you answer one other thing for me. Should I keep re-applying the Retin-A to the pinkish spots or do I leave those areas alone and let them heal on their own? I use the Retin-A gel once a day after my shower.Last edited by TestyBlend; 02-28-2006 at 11:36 PM. Reason: Follow-up question
