Wicked Forearm Pain!!!!
Hey all I'm new to the site and have a burnig question to ask.....literally. Over the last several weeks I have had an excruciating pain in my forearms like I've never had. I've worked out pretty consistantly over the last 3 years and have never had this happen. The pain is like having knives stuck into my forearms every time I grip something. It hurts to the bone whatever it is. I've been fighting through it for the last couple of weeks but now it's to the point where it's affecting almost everything I do. Any idea's on what it is and how to cure it is very much appriciated

WATER RETENTION...which would be from creatine..if you arent on creatine it could be just inflamed tissue...i had the exact same thing i tried lifting with braces hoping that it would help it..it didnt i had to ice my arm 3+ times a day for a few weeks and not lift at all and it cured that problem..the tissue around my "funny bone" nerve was squeezing the nerve..so everytime i moved it or gripped hard i could get terrible pain and sometimes numbness id be driving and have to shift with my left hand and hold the wheel with my leg because it got that bad at times
take a break from lifting so it doesnt get any worse and see a doc if necessary
good luck keep us posted

IN response to some of the questions above, no i'm not on creatine. As far as the pain location, it is in the middle of my forearm. This just really sucks since i'm into my 8th week of a sus250,winny,clen cycle. Lifting hard is all I have been doing and now that I might have to cut back on the heavy weight really sucks ass.

I say winny since he never had this ever before in his life, it's both arms, and nothing stands out as far as a way he could have injured BOTH at the same time. (doesn't list injuring himself/arms/etc...)

Its gotta be tendon inflamation from the heavy lifting/winny. I get the same pain anytime I do heavy straight bar curls for and extended period. If I stay away from the straight bar curls or preacher curls I'm OK. Try doing dumbell curls and see if it helps.

Ok bro I get them bad when I am on.The only cure I have found is take a over the counter water pill to help keep the water retention down. And when you get down lift keep a tight hold on the bar and slowly release your hold and that will help atot.

I don't know how you can curl a heavy flat bar. I can't get my hands flat enough to hold the bar. I can reverse grip, ezcurl bar, preacher, db but dayum, no flat bar curls. My forearms are wicked sore & pumped after my back day and my bicep day.
Like above, try the ez curl bar or db's.

I get pain in the left forearm, which i picked up initially from Preachers. Seems ok if i dont do that exercise, but occassionally kicks in doing Skull crushers. Maybe being on the juice (as i was at time) strength increased quickly, as does the way you push yourself, and hey presto - pain. Mine is 4 weeks on, slowly goin down. Gd luck

I have the exact same thing and it is hurting my bicep training the most, I am on a cycle to so I don't wanna rest now. So are there any other suggestions to get rid of this faster? It shakes into the bone like you said, and I can really push on that nerve that makes the pain I guess. Well, it is annoying shit and now when the cycle is in it's full bloom. I can also say that this came after I took my winny tabs also for 6 weeks at 50mg ed. I hate winny, I will never recommend that shit to anyone. I was far more powerful and cut before I used it.

same here man, that pain is a FUC**** KILLER!. I took about 10days off and it got better so I lifted again but got way worse then the first time. (all recently) Im off right now. I did tons of research and im doing what they say. Ice about 2 times a day for 15-20min. REST!! which I hate. Ibuprofen (spelled wrong) to stop the swelling, if u have it lik me, looks like my wrists have ballons in them. I also have some athletic tape that I use to restict the movement and give them support. I dont tape them to tight and I don restrict the movement completly.
It has been getten better as I jsut stopped lifting and doing my wrist PCT (lol) on wensday

Just wondering how your condition is? My gf and training partner has been having the same problem. Started off by hurting whenever she would release her grip after curling. She would let go of the bar and pain would shoot up her forearm. Now it is hurting even when she does front laterals or upright raises with light weights. It has been 2 weeks since it began and we have been icing, probably not enough, and taping it for workouts allows her to do most movements with much less pain. Any ideas as to why tape around the forearm would help with the pain? Should I make her take time off? How much?

I use to have the same problem here.
It happened right after a cycle of Abol/testE.
The problem seamed to appear because the tendons didn't follow the muscle streight as fast. Using easybar made me grip the bar harder (to prevent it to turn in your hands).
I resolved the problem by stopping the training 2 weeks, using ice and glucosamine.
I'm still using the easybar, but not in every bicep day anymore.
