Coffee can be used in colonics too. It's said to remove build up better than just water.
Unless you are regularly constipated, and your body is not able to naurally flush everything out, then I wouldn't bother. If there was going to be tons of stuff in there, then I would have had to have it done before my surgerys.
What I was perscribed to clear out the colon, and lower entestine, was to use a bottle of oral Fleet Phosphate soda, and a bottle of oral Citracel 2000. Those are both over the counter in the laxitive section, and cleared me out EXTREAMLY well for the surgery.
