it used to be just a couple time a month or so for myself. i notice anti-histamine I.E. benydril make it worse. it has gotten so bad for me. low levels of iron and magnesium can also cause it. to much caffiene and nicotine also. i have basicaly ruled all those things out and its still getting worse. it is so bad now i am definitley going to the doc on thurs. i really dont want to be on any of the drugs prescribe dofr it though. i had some roxicet (oxycodone/tylenol) sitting around and i used it the last three nights and it did wonders. but i dont want to be hooked on narcotics and how am i supposed to ask my doc to give me some narcotics because i said they work

Restless leg syndrome is a symptom of anxiety. It is mainly a spillover of restless energy and/or stress materializing into some from of subconscious physical movement, in this case (and most), a restless leg.

The best thing you can do medically would be to look into some form of low dose anti-d's or maybe a valium-esque prescription. Personally I find homeopathy a bit more appealing than drugs in this case, so try meditating for 10 mins a day with deep breathing exercises. This will allow your body and mind to relax, and allow you to focus more on the causes and/or solutions giving you the restless leg.

    Good luck.

true RLS is not just a sign of anxity here is a better descripition ,What is Restless Legs Syndrome?
"Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder characterized by unpleasant sensations in the legs and an uncontrollable urge to move them for relief. Individuals affected with the disorder describe the sensations as burning, creeping, tugging, or like insects crawling inside the legs. The sensations range in severity from uncomfortable to irritating to painful". here is that web site a gain http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/r...tless_legs.htm

This is a disorder?! Holy shit! I've had a disorder my whole life and didn't know?!

Seriously I'm always moving my legs. Didn't really consider it a problem though people notice it and give me a hard time about it, sometimes. I just scratch it up to restless energy. Definately nothing I'd go to the Dr about.

restless leg syndrome often causes issues while the person is sleeping.

Medically clomazapam is prescribe and often helps to alleviate some symptoms.

I've had experience with this - so if you need send me a pm.

I'm the queen of sleep disorders

I was treated for restless leg disorder - before they found out i had ADHD.

I have trouble sleeping because my mind is so active, not my legs.

still not sure why ,i am going to assume it is your choice to sleep alone, because 1. you are a good looking girl and 2. i know how us males think, and i can't imagine that when you go out, you dont have a flock of drooling goons all over you every night.
