all tanning lotions have accelerator, which bring moisture to the surface of your skin. this is important because when you tan without it the first 3-5 minutes of tanning is JUST bringing moisture to the surface.
bronzers contain ingredients that help make your skin darker (some people like me need this because when I tan I get more red than anything).
tingles open up your pores allowing for a deeper and faster tan, but it will sting - especially the first time you try it.
only reason I know all this is because I worked in a tanning place for a month when I couldn't find a good job

yeah, tingle was originally developed to stimulate hair growth! I didn't know that for a while and I wondered why I would have to shave after tanning even if I had already shaved right before. It does also bring blood to the skin.

most bronzers contain a fast-acting fake tannner (which will wash off) and DHA, which is a natural color base which can take up to 4 hours to show (it basically dyes your skin and won't wash off). bronzers also contain cocoa and other dark extracts that help color you.

It's easier and cheaper just to go outside and get a tan. Go to the pool or something...But I've actually never been to a tanning place or used tanning oils, so I don't have anything to base it on, just mho.
