Few questions about bringing back hair

I just recently bought some monoxidil and nizoral shampoo to start taking for my hair. Im about to order either dutasteride from arr or look at getting some avodart or getting prescriped proscar. Which one of those 3 would work best? Also when taking the monoxidil say in the morning, when do yall "style" your hair...before or after putting it on? I usually put jel in my hair so I didn't know if that would mess with it or not. Thanks

Well, forget that question. I figured I'd just ask another question in here instead of starting a new one. Would it probably be ok to just shave my head and still apply it. I'm not going to shave it bald, just with like a no guarder or a one, then let the hair grow out. Reason I ask is because I've heard that you actually lose more hair off the front line of your head and the minoxidil doesn't work for the front
