Im 23 and starting to show slight signs of thinning on top.Going to get minoxidil today and even thinking of going with propecia too.my question is how bad is the "shedding period" i read about here?would it be best to keep my head buzzed on like a 2 or 3 guard,keep it medium length or longer to try and hide the shedding?is the sheddig even that serious to have to do somethin like that?

i'm 26 and on the same boat. You worried it's you going bald? Some times we thin out a little when you get older...specially if you have had thick hair all your life. I'm waiting for a clear sign that I'm going balding before i start to worry bout all that.

Prevention is king. Don't wait for the problem to get worse, attack it early.

Easy and cheap way to go now: Generic Rogaine (Costco, Sams, etc) & Saw Palmetto.

If your only showing slight signs of thinning, you probably won't visually notice the shading. What portion of you head is thinning?

Crown area.Ive had my head buzzed on a 2 or 3 for like 4 years, started to grow it out and could see some thinning.got the generic minox,got saw,got nizoral,clean diet.starting the minox in a few days

Propecia is working for me its been 5 months since i started and my head is starting to fill out again. I'm taking the prevention route. I noticed I was losing hair, I knew balding was present in my family, so I started propecia as soon as i could.

I have not used any aas. I believe i am still too young for it as many others on here would also say.
