Some causes are fatigue, squinting a lot, consuming too much caffeine, or working in a less than ideal visual environment, e.g., staring at a computer screens for long periods of time. Just like a muscle spasm at any other part of the body, an eye twitch can mean you've taxed your muscles and need to relax them.

At home treatments that may help include hot baths, warm or cold compresses, rinsing your eyes out with warm water, or administrating eye drops.

Blepharospasm or eye twitching is believed to be caused by an abnormal functioning of certain nerve areas located at the base of the brain which control the coordination of muscle movements. In the majority of people it appears without any real known cause. Frequently, the signs and symptoms of dry eye occur right before or along with the appearance of eye twitching. Some research indicates that dry eye is a trigger for blepharospasm in those people who are may develop it. Occasionally eye twitching may run in families or be side effect of certain medications.

Other common causes of blepharospasm include:
    Stress
Irritation of the Cornea or Conjunctiva
    Fatigue
    Lack of sleep
Prolonged staring at a computer screen or television
    Nervous system disorders

I think ur on AR to much lol here is some more info hope it helps..

    Mild Eye Twitching
Will usually go away on its own
    Cut down on stress
    Rest up
    Severe Eye Twitching

Medication (different depending on situation) usually to relax muscles
    Botox injections
Surgery only for the severest of cases that hamper vision

    Eye Twitch - Preventive Measures

Stress management - keep stress under control
Get plenty of sleep to keep eye muscles rested
When in vision intensive scenarios such as computer work, take frequent breaks to give the eyes a break

Left eye and it's not constant.. just like something is tugging on it.. not fast or anything like that.

People can see it if i point it out.. riight now it does feel like theres something in it, but i think it's just because it was moving..

no it's not make up i'm not wearing any

I have the same thing Mizfit! It's in my left eye too, not my eye itself but my eyelid. It gets really annoying. It's been going on sense April of this year. It started twitching during a job interview like crazy and I got all self-consious

I got my first twitches a few months ago and freaked out a little myself. Went away after a few weeks. Not sure what caused it, but its gone now.

I currently have the same damn twitch in my left lower eyelid. For a few weeks now too. Ironic.
This round started from my left quad for about 2 months to my left bicep for about 2 weeks and now my left eylid.

    I don't get it.

The last time my eye lid twitched was a few years for several months until I got in a shuffle with my dad (long story) and my glasses broke. I couldn't afford to get new ones so I went without and suddenly my twitch went away in my eye.

If you wear glasses and don't wear them start.

Sometimes you could have dry eye.

tiredness and stress are huge factors
