Current problems:
After two cortisone injectins 5-6 months ago I thought I was fine........
I am having to ice my shoulders after a chest (Sometimes legs if bar was resting on shoulders and arms if I happened to involve shoulders somehow) workout to avoid severe soreness that gradually increases with every rep and every set reaching its threshold after about 7-8 sets of chest movements ultimately leaving me in bad pain PWO. Primarily effecting one shoulder as lifts progress and initially the opposing shoulder has to be warmed up with approx a minimum of 5 sets of light DB presses before BB BP can be attempted without or with minimul pain involved. Thera bands are used as a warmup as well for every lift, doing 3-4 sets first of 25-40 reps. I am 1 week in after a 2 week layoff and the pain is back after 1 workout which was fine.
Currently on 900mg deca (500cyp/100var) a week which is helping but not enough. I am not experiencing an exhaustion of the target muscle before my shoulders can take no more. They are holding me back definately, I can do much much more but the pain is too great eventually.
I am in the process of obtaining aflutop/adequan to give them a shot and hopefully they will help this problem.
Anyone else have a similar injury or want to put in any thoughts?
Just thought Id post this as it is a more thorough description of what is going on with my shoulders.
