You Won't Believe This Actually Works
My girlfriend's in cosmetology school right now and her current chapter is on skin care and facials. (I offer to help out and give her one but so far she hasn't taken the offer ) Anyway, she told me today that her instructor told her that a really great mask to put on the face that draws out pimples and blackheads is egg whites. You simply take a regular egg, crack it, separate the yolk from the white and apply it to the face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off. I have a bunch of blackheads and whiteheads on my face, but no real pimples. My skin looks nice from far away, but up close it's not clear.
I told her I'd try it out if she blew me while I was waiting for the stuff to dry so I didn't feel like such a homo for wearing an egg white mask on my face. She agreed. Holy crap bros, I kid you not--it worked great. The few blemishes that it didn't remove were drawn to the surface for easy removal. I was even able to draw out the pimple that was under my eye (that I brought up in a thread in this sub-forum). I'd say it removed 85% of the tiny little blackwhites and whiteheads that I have. I really can't believe it worked but it did and I figured I'd share it with you guys. And the BJ was a great bonus.

are you sure it's not egg yolks? because i have heard about egg yolks. Egg yolk is thick and will stick to ur face enabling you too peel it off. I couild be wrong but i have seen girls who use egg yolks

I'm absolutely positive it's NOT egg yokes. It is not necessary to have the "mask" peel off the face as it's not the action of "peeling" that remove the blemishes from the skin, but rather the ability of the egg whites to induce a sort of capillary action that draws out the sebum/bacteria/dirt from the skin.
Not only does the egg white have this ability but apparently the "egg skin" does as well. If you have a tiny splinter or a visible hair stuck in the skin (from an ingrown hair, say), placing a tiny piece of "egg skin" over the area covered by a band-aid for about 30 minutes will draw out the object and make it's removal easier. I've tried it on an ingrown hair that I could see but could not remove with tweasers without severe discomfort and it worked. It made the hair even more visible and drew it closer to the skin's surface so I could remove it as easily as if it were a hair on my head. It's quite remarkable actually.

I just asked my wife about this, she says you use egg whites if your face is oily, yolks if its dry. She says it works great, so this is def no joke

It really works. If you care about your skin and can't afford a facial (although my g/fs in cosmetology school they offer a 2hr facial for $30 as opposed to the $200 you might pay at a spa) it's a very very affordable alternative.

Doesn't seem like it would stay on very well. Any technique to applying it? Also, how many whites do you use?

You could always try an 'aspirin mask'. only do it 1-2 times a week though. its great for drawing out blackheads.
just use those cheap aspirin that arent in capsules, grind 1 up, mix w/water to make a paste.
open your pores before applying (hot steam/cloth), then apply paste until it dries into a mask.
sounds dumb but it works.
ps: not a good idea if you have really dry skin though.

It sounds gross but all you need to do is scoop up a little of the white in your hand and apply it on your face like you would soap. You don't need to rub it in or anything, just make sure your face is covered. Let it set for 15 mins and wash off. I've found that only one egg white is needed to cover the whole face.

That's interesting. Aspirin is used (in products like Tendskin and No Bumps) to help prevent (and treat) ingrown hairs and shaving irritation. I'm not entirely sure how well it works because it must be used consistenty several days prior to shaving and several days after shaving and I've never been able to be that consistent with it. But it is the main and active ingredient in those products. I'd be interested to see how well it draws out blemishes.

I tried the egg white mask and it didnt seem to do anything but waste a little bit of time. I don't have many blackheads, but the ones I do have are still there. It did feel like it was tightening my face as it dried but thats it.
