Shaving arms?
How many of you guys shave your entire upper body? I normaly shave my chest and stomach, but ost of my bros from the gym shave also shave their arms. I think that its kind of weird but I'm considereing giving it a shot. How many of you guys do this and does anyone have any adivce/recommendations on shaving arms for the first time?

For those who do shave their arms, how often do you have to shave? I normally only shave my chest like once a week?

I shave all over about once a week. Nair can be expensive, so I rotate between the razor and Nair. Once you do it a few times, you'll really cut down on your shave time as it because easier and easier. I have (had) darker colored arm and leg hair, so it hid some of my vasularity. Do it man, you'll be glad that you did.

Would you recommend shaving or using nair for the first time?

Nair it bro! Apply it pretty thick as well since this is your first go around. Wait no more than 10 minutes before removing. Also, do NOT apply Nair more than once on a particular area. It will burn your skin and leave it aggravated for a few days. So if you miss a small spot or whatever, use your razor to get it.

Thanks for the tips Mavsluva. I guess I'm going to bite the bullet and give it a try.

You bet! By the time you're completely finished, you will be so beat down by the smell of Nair! The smell reminds me of the stuff that my mom used for perming her hair. Icky!

Naired em; didn't even get any chemical burn. It missed a few spots so I had to shave them.

I shave EVERYTHING on my body. I usually have to shave twice a week. I use skintimate lotion (yeah, the girl's stuff) because it is not only cheaper, but it smells good and works a lot better. For the razor i usually use the Gillete Fusion, but I also have a Venus that exfoliates

So tell me (and be honest)....
How long have you been staring at your arms and legs this evening after removing all of your hair? Wait until you put your first pair of pants on or a long sleeve shirt. It will feel pretty weird.

for the first time you shave them, it's gonna be a bitch, buy this
www.ShaveEverywhere.com it makes life so easy. trim it on the #1 setting, then no setting, then shave them

That's funny, I did do quite a bit of staring and it does feel pretty weired this morning. I notice a lot more vascularity in my shoulders and upper and lower arms. I'm still not quite ready to take to plunge to shave my legs, but I guess its a slippery slope.

I used original nair I guess (didn't see any nair for men). The only place it burned was my underarms, but they are better now. I think I took it off a little early because I had to go back over some areas with a razor.

I use nair, Im not particularly hairy but remove the hair everywhere. I use a razor for legs and sometimes arms, but I find my arms get irritated with a razor sometimes. I have waxed before but its painful especially when doing it on urself. So Nair for men it is on the arms and what not.

Yeah I let a girlfriend wax my chest once, it was aweful.

Over the summer, I shave my chest and stomach, but over the winter I usually let it grow.
I haven't shaved my arms yet, but I think they may look too small if I did. My forearms are pretty hairy, and it makes them look bigger for some reason.

I shave my chest and I did my arms once but my wife thought I felt like a girl and she didn't like it so the hair on my arms stays.

I think my forearms look a bit smaller now too, but its proportional. My wrists look tiny now so my forearms still look good.

I hate body hair!
I get my chest waxed once a month.
Shave legs, groin and butt once a week in shower with Gillet mach3 razer
Electric shaver on arms every morning.
I stay taned year round. I think pale bald forearms look funny.
But taned vascular hairless forarms... I have never had anything but good coments.

i can see how some people think its weird for a guy to have no body hair.
But i like seeing hard earned muscle, cuts and viens sticking out everywhere.
I'm 27 now wonder how many years i'll keep this up.
I started with chest then legs then arms. oh and i keep my underarms trimed short.

Ive been shaving my arms for years . its the best thing i could ever have done. no more sweaty smelly arms(dont shave pits). I use a normal Phillips razor takes about a minute to shave my arms. looks clean and neat.

I shave everything from the neck down, and I usually have to do it about every 3-4 days. I can't wait until I start investing some money into laser hair removal.
