    Need serious advice

Whats up bros ok i know this is the wrong forum but i know ill get my answers here and alot of them. I was diagnosed with 2 herniated disks 1 bulging disk sever spinal stenosis in one area and mild spinal stenosis in another and at least 3 degenerative disks in my lower lumbar spine. I am getting an epideral this coming friday. I have not lifted in 2 months and lost alot of weight. I got this wonderful news just as i was in my pct of a cycle. I need to lift its part of my life, i have been lifting for over 10 years and exercising since i was a child. What can i do to get my muscle mass back without hurting myself more. its obvious that the big boys are out such as squatting and deadlifting. i can live with getting more cut up and less massive but i still want to maintain a good size. please someone with knowledge help me get a routine that i can do without causing greater stress as well as increasing my injuries further. thank you.

just find out what exercises you can do without adding stress to your back... also try weightless back extensions a few times a week to strengthen the muscles supporting the spine... and for god sakes get a girdle and a good weight belt and wear it when you do curls, bench or whatever...

i actually have 3 herniated discs and degenerative disk disease, best thing on the planet, drop any excess weight you are carying and do supermans(lay on your stomach on the ground and arch up so both legs and chest is off the ground) do as many as you can, it will actuall put some size on your lower back too, keep those muscles strong and you wont have an issue

i have had djd since i was 21 and i am 10 myears older and still squatin and deadlifting heavy. now witht he hernaitions and stenois, that is a whole different story, the vax 1 spianl traction machin would help, you have to find a PT,DO, or DC that has one. best way for disc rcovery without surgery

i would lift heavy with upper body work, but lower body i would keep it light and stay away from squats and deads,it all depends how serious the herniation and stenois is, i know a person who made a comeback with a slight herniation to deadlift 700lbs drug free, i dont think this is the normal case, but it is possible. you have to listen to your body, dont push it all at once, but try different things and see what works for you. stick to exercises that dont raise the intra a**ominal pressure very high(enough that you strain, like you were moving your bowels aka valsalva maneuver)
