When I used to do fast jerky elbow locking light bench warm ups, it did the same thing.....when I did it the same speed but didnt lock my elbows at the end of the movement it was fine...

I dont have this problem anymore now, even if I workout without warming up, but when I did doing the above helped me out.

I cant speak to anyone elses problem but my own, but for me my elbow popping is my ulnar nrever jumping out of its groove during flexion. If im not under alot fo weight, it slides out and in during flexion and extention without much trouble. When im bearing alot of wieght, it seems to be under alot more tension and when it goes back into the groove during extention it does so forcefuly with a pop. Its not painful but it is scary considering that the ulnar is the major motor supply to the intrinsice hand muscles and part of the sensory supply as well. I worry im damaging it. Here is a pic to make the anatomy clear. It is seen in its groove in this pic, right at the elbow joint. When i flex it moves out over the medial epichonyle, labeled in the pic. If this is happening to you you can feel it happen if you place your opposite hand in a cupped position with your finger tips touching the bony protuberance on the inside (medial) of the elbow.

I have the same problem on my left elbow. I only get it when i first lift some weights, i.e during my warm up. After I snap my arm out a few times and do my warm up sets its gone and I have no problem. Defiantly see a doctor.
