    Shoulder/ Rotar cuff injury

Well I should have known better! I hurt my shoulder about 12 years ago doing behind the neck presses. I dont do them any more because of the injury. The other day I was feeling really good. I thought I would give this exercise a try again. Used the smith machine for added stability and to stay on track. All went well............until the next morning and my shoulder has been sore since. I believe that I will need surgery there someday, but for now I'll work around it again and hope that it gets better again.

Anyone have a similar injury? How did you deal with it?

Also, I just ordered some DMSO to help alleviate some innner swelling and discomfort, any thoughts on DMSO?

    Thanks

i got a slight nag in my right rotator cuff that flares up just a bit...nothing too bad though knock on wood...think it is originally from throwing baseballs/softballs....i wouldn't even attempt to throw hard if i was to play again...i know it would finish it off

i thought i might have got some relief from a small deca cycle

I think that was part of my problem. Everything felt so good while on cycle.( Deca & Test). I just hurt it last week while on week 2 of PCT. Stll trying to push hard.....possibly too hard.

Go see a physical therapist for one session..
Rubber band exercises were the best for my rotator cuff..

i think everyone at one point or another has had some type of shoulder discomfort...for me its my left rotator cuff

every so often it will flare up and bother me...most recently it was due to my workout split of doing incline db presses and standing military bb in the same workout

as soon as i changed to flat bb press and db military it began to get better...along with ice and advil like doc sus talks about in his sticky
