I'm getting my first one ever tomrmrow from a registered massage therapist.

What are they like?

depends on the type. I love deep tissue massages, they hurt so good cause they go deep, but after you feel like a new person!! ENJOY !!

Depends on the therapist... I've only found one that could actually get deep into my muscle, the bigger the woman the better when it comes to massages lol.. otherwise you'll never hear me say that

For you Miz just get a swedish massage if you want to relax, deep tissue is more painful but really helps break up the toxins in the muscle tissue.

i'll second that. years ago i had a trainer who had hands as big as baseball gloves. i used to get the deep tissue from him. felt like i was being beat by a truckload of frozen turkeys. afterward i was a new man.

Well deep tissue is great ! you will be able to let him know if he is hurting you too much or not enough.....ENJOY IT !!
