Sorry to hack your thread bro, but i have the same thing going on with my shoulder. It is not all sore but very uncomfortable. I feel it more on incline db press that regular flat db press. On military press it does hurt on the initial motion of the press.

So two weeks rest didn't help you at all?

The reason for your shoulder pain is your front delt, where as a shoulde rpress your using all 3 heads of the muscle and not overloading 1 specific part of it like a bench press does with your shoulders. Your probably a shoulder bencher like me, and your lats/shoulders want to take priority over your chest when your pushing the weight up. I primarily stick to db's, they make my chest bigger, stronger, and no pain. Plus, you can bring your elbows in a little with db's so your shoulders dont flare out like on bench. I will decline bench, incline bench from time to time w/ barbells, but no flat bench. If you need to flat bench lighten the workload and focus more on contraction and squeeze of your muscles, not hoisting weight up. My max at one time was 420 lbs, but the best results with flat bench was when I only used 225 lbs and did slow reps. Now db's is a different story, I get heavy with those

was actually benchin 105kg (230lbs) today slow, with 3rd set failure.
felt good but i could still feel it niggling although paon had pretty much gone,
i always use dbs on incline and de-cline, gonna give db flat bencha few weeks see how that goes ,

    cheers
