if you go to wal mart there is a cocoa butter blend with a picture of a pregnant woman on the front. its over by the lotions. its got vit e and other things in it. id try that. i cant remember the brand, white box...preganant woman. if you cant find that grab some vit e gel capsules, pop them, and use the juice.
If you have health insurance, you could make up some reason to go to a dermatologist that your insurance would cover and ask him about stuff for stretch marks during the visit. Play the system, man.
Its palmers cocoa butter
Go to your local grocey store and ask/look for Mederma.
That should do the trick. If not, then go to GNC, even though I hate them, and get StriVectin-SD. Its expensive, but powerfull, and will work.

I used cocoa butter regularly and it's working decently. I hear good things about Mederma.
StriVectin-SD works maricles. You should try it!
my stretch marks are about 5 years old when i was heavy into lifting all over my biceps, armpits, down the the elbow crease. they are white and faded i used to try to use cocoa butter back then when they were red but i think it was too little too late. am i basically screwed or do i still have hope of clearing it up.

Seeing how this is a stretch mark thread and I hate to start new threads if I don't have to......has anyone gotten stretch marks on top of their deltoid, where the deltoid and lat meet? It seems to be right where the bar rests when I'm doing squats and the stretch marks show up (get red and visible) after leg day.
Mederma also works well and is available OTC.

i used that when i was pregnant! it works soooo well! it's called Palmers Cocoa butter. strongly recommended!Originally Posted by armbar83
i've got horrible stretch marks and nothing gets rid of them....you can prevent them.. but thats it! once they're there they're there for good......
If your stretch marks are just coming on and ur just noticing they're pinkish etc then yes i'd use some form of mederma/cocoa butter and prevent them from getting worse but if they're like mind and deep and open they wont go away...i tried everything...they will however liten up and match ur skin color alot better over time unless u keep opening them up....also being tan will help hide them
