    Shoulder injury

    Hiya!

10 days ago on the chest training i felt a pain(2-3 sec) while i tried to bench press incline. It was the last set and the weight wasn't too biig.I finished my training without any problems but after the pain has come.I felt it in the front part of the shoulder.I used everything what i could - massage, gel and etc...

On Monday i was back in the gym and everything was almost fine. The pain was very weak after the session.

On the last friday - chest again - i was VERY careful.First 3 exercises everything was excellent. Then i felt the pain again.I stopped my chest training and skipped to the biceps.

Everything was fine but after 6 hrs i got huge pain in the fron part of the shoulder again. This the pain was for almost whole night and next day.Now it seems going to be good again but i know i must take min one week off from the weights.

My question is - should i completely stop upper body or can i train my some parts of muslces?Of course i will try only the isolated exercises

I'm on the cycle now and it's first time in my life when i got serious injusry on the cycle.

well bro, u def. need to find out what u got going on with your shoulder...tendinitus is one thing but as a baseball player i know that the front of the shoulder is not where you want it to hurt....if you extend your arms with your thumbs down and have someone put resitance on top of your hand....u need to push up and see how bad it hurts....if it does it could be your cuff or your labrium, which isnt a good thing...good luck bro, id lay off and take some advil 4 times a day...

    Thx bro.

I just done the test - and there's no pain.I treid to move my shoulder in all directions and nothing.I would say the pain was in the last 2 days "constant".Something like once in a couple minutes. When I move my arm I don't fell the pain. It's like "something" inside" from the biceps to the collar bone.On Saturday when i touched the area around the collar bone i felt the pain....But now if the pain's coming it's suddenly - even without any movement rarely but sometimes.

I don't see any swelling around or bleeding....

I will take one week off - maybe except leg session.

Visiting any docs it's the last thing i would try.

Why?Because i have really bad experience about what happened before. Now i'm after knee surgery and I could avoid it but first 2 diagnonsis were completely wrong.

I will PM Doc Sust - thx bro.

    Or maybe not

I didn't know about PM rules for the beginners.

I spoke today to my physio - he's diagnosis is tendonitis.

It's 7th day when i'm away from the weights.

I want to start a little weights on Monday(10th day from the last training) and I want to try Doc Sust advices.

Or maybe I should stay away for another week?

I don't feel any pain in the shoulder now but it's still little a bit "something" wrong inside.

Look up "Distal Clavicle Osteolysis" - It's more common than you think, especially for those people who go heavy on bench presses...starts off with tendonitis and can progress towards sports-induced arthritis

    I hope it's not DCO.

Yesterday I was first time st the gym after 17 days off.I didn't try too much - still feeling something in the shoulder.it's not the pain but I want to be very careful now.2 weeks ago i couldn't make a "most muscular" pose without a pain in the shoulder - now there's no pain so it looks like a good sign.
