Heard a pop while doing shrugs?!

I was doing some behind the back shrugs and I heard this little pop then my trap started to hurt in on the right center of my back right near my spinal erectors very wierd.... dull ache now w/o pain meds when it first happened I had a little trouble breathing.... but breathing fine now..... muscle pull? or what do you think I thought it was spinal at first but I think I would be in alot more pain... absolutely no discoloration and only really bothers me when I stretch it now...

Sounds like you just popped your neck and you strained a muscle. If youre not hurting that bad, dont freak out for nothing. Take a day or two off and rest.

I wake up every night 2-3x with major back spasms. Who f-ing knows? I just do what I can and keep on living. It sucks to live with pain.

Ya but its kind of ironic that in the pursuit to become the so called "Picture of health" you will probably incur dramatic injuries over your life time..... Its the price you pay I guess...

Bro, I'd go see a chiroprator. I've had back problems since I was a teenager. I always thought I just had to live with it. A year ago a friend said I should go see his ex-wife (see worked in a chiroprators office). A couple of sesions later and I was on cloud nine with no pain and great sleep. HMO's dont suport chiropractors that offten but it doesnt matter, they're pretty cheap. It was only $70 for the first two sessions and $30 for every session after that. A small price to pay for it if you ask me.

Brotha, I wish it worked for me.

Ive been to the chiro about a dozen times and been to a message therapist 4-6 times too. Nothing. The only thing that works is trigger-point-therapy. Its getting to the point that I only wake up 1 or twice per night! Yippee!
