    Doc has me on prednisone...

    I went to the doc about my elbow pain. I already new it was tedonitis or tendonosis but she gave me a pack of prednisone for six days. She said that with some ice and heat should get me back to normal soon.

    How long do you think I should wait before working out again?

    Also, has anyone else here used prednisone and if so, did it work?

    hey bro, went yesterday for a torn tendon in my wrist, third time with prednisone, started it today. it has worked for me in the past very well. it does alot to decrease the internal inflammation and the ice helps the external swelling. a week off of training that area and picking up plates with that arm has done it for me in the past, but, listen to your body! I just entered thread yesterday about my wrist and what to do with my cycle? any advice here would be helpful!

    Let me guess, you got elbow pain from skull crushers?

    My pain was not from skull crushers, they don't bother me at all. My pain is from upright rows with a barbell. It KILLS my elbow and any exercise that works my delts such as laterall raises with the dumbells. Is that odd??

    I have not heard of problems from lateral raises or upright rows, I know most of the problems come from skull crushers. Sorry I could not help, good luck with it.
