help with tons of blackheads on nose!
In general my skin is clear but my nose is so filled with blackheads that you can see each indivisual pore and its driving me crazy. (they never turn into acne , just stay blackheads)
Ive tried stupid acne washes and cremes but all they do is dry my skin out so i have a reddish nose filled with blackheads.
Any suggestions on fixing this problem?

These people have other helpful suggestions besides jojoba oil, too . . .
Jojoba oil can be found just about anywhere . . . at better health food shops and natural grocery stores everywhere . . .
Just fyi . . .

Jojoba Oil for Acne
Jojoba oil for acne is one of the famous products on the market today. It is well-known as the “little miracle” in skin and beauty care, and there is a massive production of it knowing what the jojoba oil for acne can bring. It is nice to know that today this miracle acne treatment is made available in an affordable price, making it possible for all of you to buy.
Prior to the introduction of jojoba oil for acne, the oil was known as a potent solution for fighting wrinkles and extra dry and oil skin. Certain reports have noted its effect to the skin as it aids in minimizing the line and other signs of aging. It was actually when studies have found out that jojoba oil is potent for rejuvenating the skin that it was applied for the treatment of acne, leading to the concept of “jojoba oil for acne”.
The jojoba oil for acne is said to be a miracle treatment with its ability to trick the skin into stopping the production of sebum through somehow mimicking sebum. It is mainly with this fact that jojoba oil for acne is deemed to aid in the break down of sebum or oil in the plugged-up pores. Experts have noted that in the application of this oil, the sebum and jojoba oil for acne combine readily without sealing off the pores. Aside from that, a number of dermatologists have claimed that jojoba oil for acne is non-irritating, bringing a somehow comfortable feeling to those who are using it.
Speaking of non-irritating, many findings have noted that jojoba oil for acne is not irritating to the eyes as well as the skin. In the process, the skin is said to rapidly absorb the jojoba oil, leaving the pores as well as the hair follicles in the skin open so they can function freely. And, perhaps another great property of this product is its being non-greasy, leaving the skin oil-free. It is actually the non-greasy layers of trans-epidermal water control formed by the jojoba oil for acne and sebum that acts to prevent acne and other skin imperfections from forming.
It is interesting to know that jojoba oil for acne is actually made from a bean. It is a golden colored, odorless, and non-allergic liquid wax that appears to be very much like that of the sperm whale oil, another solution used for fighting wrinkles and other skin imperfections. The jojoba oil for acne is also composed of liquid wax esters which generally make up 25 to 30 percent of the skins surface layer known as sebum. And, it is commonly applied by rubbing few drops of it on hand and gently massaging it into the skin.

You can even get them at the local drugstore. When you rip it off, it looks like it has ****ing fur growing from it.
They are nothing more than strips made for exactly what you are asking about.
I took acutane in highschool, so my face is pretty blemish free. Even during a cycle, I don't break out on the face...I still get oily though....the above product works great. I think you can find a generic version placed right next to it at the drug store.

Yeah, that's what it is. Did you try cleaning your nose with rubbing alcohol first, so that all the oil is off and it can stick? A hot shower, then alcohol, should get it sticking like super glue. It should be so hard to pull off, that you think you are going to tear your skin off of your cartilage.

lol, let me know how it goes. If the strip looks like the foot of a starfish after you're done, then you did it right.

I used to have that as well. Honestly though. My sister is a "spa" freak. She gave me "Biore PORE PERFECT". Get it at a grocery store or w.e. Use it on your face when you shower. Bam blackheads gone.
EDIT: LOL Being as smart as I am. Just read the rest of the posts......Go Biore....

I've got the same problem. The sticky strips kind of work and so does squeezing, but I've got quite thin skin on my nose and the strips/squeezing too hard damages it and I end up with flacky skin instead.
I'm going to give Biore a go and probably Jojoba as well. Maybe something with AHA's or BHA's would work as well?

It shouldnt hurt terribly bad when slowly pulling off, but it shouldnt be a walk in the park either.

OK bump...
Time to be MetroSexual (I hate that work) and go to a spa and get a facial. I did it for the first time a couple weeks ago. I have always had black heads on the nose and I have used the strips, washes, creams but noting consistent.
Getting a facial is very relaxing and nice, right up to where they break out the little scrapper and practically peel your skin off your nose. DAMN!!!! that hurts, I had tears pouring down my cheeks. I now keep my face MUCH cleaner every day and have been doing the old squeeze every few days. Black heads are almost gone. I'm thinking about dong another facial soon but I am going to tell them next time to take it east....
