How fast should a small cut heal?

At work lately we have been playing with glass, and I get nicked ever so often, once a week it seems.

These cuts are small, but they do bleed profusely. I usually put a bandaid on them to control them..

but usually later that same day, out of experience from the past, would assume the cut has already healed enough where I can take the bandaid off..

BUt lately it seems when i take the bandaid of, I can easily aggrevate the cut, and it starts to bleed... makin me be like WTF?

I thought it should heal by now..

are these glass cuts different from regular cuts?
or maybe I'm starting to get diabetes or something, and arent properly healing i dunno..

It gets me going tho..

I'm gonna get checked for diabetes one of these weeks, but in the meantime if anyone has anything to add on cuts and healing, be my guest..

There really is not much on the internet I could find regarding cut types and Normal healing periods.
