    Neck and back discomfort

My back and neck always feel uncomfortable so I am constantly cracking them. I probably do it atleast 5 times a day. Could this be from anxiety? Any suggestions? Should I try to stop or see a chiropractor?

do you have a job where you sit at a computer or desk all day? A change in posture can make a big difference if that is the case.

Students generally sit down alot to type/write don't they, at least I did? Throughout school you'd have been sitting in chairs, Kratos is stating a vaild point - when you are sitting down to use a computer, write, read or listen change how you're seated it makes a world of difference. You might be very unlucky and have arthritis - hope for your sake that's not the case, it can be very saw in later life - i had to listen to my dad whinge about it since i can remember!

Do you get relief when you crack them? I'd definitely suggest you don't crack anything, see a doctor it could be the early stages of arthritis or even anxiety - not sure how the latter affects you though, maybe pills can fix it?

Hope you get it fixed soon, doesn't sound good - have you had any injuries in that area, like car crash (whiplash) or anything?

    Yes you got it!

Yes see a chiropractor. He won't chage the way you sit. That will be your concious effort, core strenghtening, and maybe a lumbar support. Try the computer chairs that don't have a back and have a kneeling type leg holder. They force you to sit up straight.
