    shoulders and squatting

Anyone have shoulder injuries from the shoulder being hyperextended from the bar on ones upper back when squatting?

i dont have injuries from sqautting. but i have dislocated my shoulders a few times. so i am really restricted in moving them. to the point of not being able to squat regular stance because the torque of my shoulders to grab the bar freaking kills. so i know what you mean. has it happened to you? or are you just asking?

Well I am having shoulder pain.

Bottom line is I can bench relatively heavy. Dumbells are fine. Barbell cool unless I go crazily heavy.

I have had this before and it seemed to work itself out. The weird thing is it started right when I started squatting again.

Now, this is no gimmick I actually have video of me doing these as well.

This top squat bar is what guys need to use that have shoulder injuries. Now I am slated to have shoulder surgery on Friday but this for the past year has kept me squatting as well.

This is me using the top squat bar.

Not very it is something that you would probably have to either buy yourself or get them to purchase and keep behind a desk. It costs about 150 bucks.

dude try bending your elbows more and grabbing the bar as close to your head as is comfortable. i used to get the same thing, it fixed it for me. it's a little harder to balance the bar but you get used to it. PM me if you don't understand.
