shoulder popping?
was doing lateral raises last week and on the way up i got this sharp pain. It started hurting so i stopped. ive been able to workout, but there is a little discomfort still. what i have noticed is that when i move my arm across my body or lift it up i can hear this rubbing sound. Its like 2 bones are rubbing and if i lift my arm high enough it will pop. there isnt really any pain to the touch its just a mild pain only with movement. There is something wrong for sure. Does anyone have any advice, my shoulders have always been my strong point so its got me pretty bummed.

you just popped some of the connective tissue that was holding your shoulder socket stable. It happened to me while I was doing able lateral raises over three years ago. I still haven't recovered.
Good luck dear friend.
You might want to do some research on "ligament laxity."
