Rehab following Rotator Cuff Surgery
I am going to be having my second rotator cuff surgery. Had my other shoulder done about 18 months ago. Had a major tear and took a good year to fully recover from the surgery. Finally getting back and I tear my other rotator cuff.
Anyone do AAS as a method to accelerate recovery? Is it of benefit or risk of the muscles getting to strong for the tendon repair to quickly a risk. This tear is not as bad as the last one but the thought of not being able to train the way I want to for another year is killing me.
This time I was at the surgeons office within days of when I believe i tore it. Last time I waited about 10 months before I saw a doctor. He attributed waiting the 10 months and trying to train around it as the reason it was such a bad tear and an extremely rough recovery. Not waiting any longer than I have to to get this one fixed.

would a couple weeks of a low dose cycle of anavar help prevent atrophy in the muscles not being used.
Last surgery I lost allot of size in that shoulder and arm. Would like to avoid this time or at the least slow it down.
I do allot of cardio and legs post surgery, but last time was probably 3 months before I could pick up a weight and do anything significant with it, never mind push anything heavy

Personally I wouldn't use any steroids at all if I wasn't able to train properly. Trying to prevent atrophy during a serious injury is a losing battle. You'll get your size back after you recover.
Shoulder injuries suck. I'm dealing with one myself. Good luck.
