torn bicep
I was just wondering if any1 has torn there bicep before, because im pretty sure my right bicep is torn, u can clearly see a tear all the way accross it. I am going to see a dr. on monday but im just wondering if its possible to keep working chest and go light on my back or would that just make it worse. The only reason i wanna keep training is because im in the best shape ive ever been and ive put a lot of my time into my training and diet to just take time off from the gym for an extended period of time.
thanks for any help.

I am currently 6 weeks post surgery for a torn left bicep. Mine popped doing dumbell curls. Two loud snaps and they my arm was a limp noodle. Bicep jumped up into my shoulder then I had a skinny ass arm to the elbow. The repair is no fun. Incision at the top side of the elbow, drill a hole through the radius bone, pull the muscle back into place, thread the tendon through the hole, another incision on the back side just below the elbow, then the tendon is screwed to the radius bone. Two weeks in a cast from shoulder to finger tips, 6 weeks in a Bledsoe motion limiting brace, 3-6 months before I can lift again. Never felt sustained pain like this before. Sucks bad.
